Aubergine

A crop that is becoming increasingly popular, each year we grow more and more plants to keep up with demand. The variety we grow is called Black Pearl. It’s a deep coloured fruit which is very high yielding. We sow aubergines in late February and transplant into the Polytunnels in late March/early April. It’s usually ready for harvesting in July.
